Story

The townsfolk are generally disgruntled and a thick dark fog looms over the region. A barfight broke out on finn's first night in town which led to him being acquainted with several other travelers: gordon, aurora, and gary.

The next day we began to investigate the fog by visiting a church on the top of a nearby hill. It seemed to be the only place unaffected by the storm. The priest said she had been planning to gather some people to investigate the issue, but was happy to have us take a look first. Unfortunately, she had very few clues to offer. Only that the church was protected, likely due to ancient magic woven into the buildings foundation.

Traveling roughly 5 miles northward from town we came to the edge of the storm and noticed that it appeared to be flowing (as opposed to moving) south-south-west. We delved into the forest heading north-east to search for a source to this storm.

Next: apasan woods

After destroying the source of the fog we began the long trek back to apasa. It took most of the day to find our way out of the woods and onto the north road. Felt like 10 or so miles of traveling, but it's always a bit hard to be certain in the woods. We traveled a short while down the road before resting for the evening.

The next day we made it back into town and checked in with the church on the top of the hill. Turns out the church had sent out an adventurer of their own shortly after we had left. Hopefully they made it out alright as we never ran into them.

We began to turn out attention to stories coming from the town of towasi to the east. Stories of mysterious disappearances and large horrifying mechanical creatures. Enough to make some of our heroes consider resting up and training with our equipment, but he harrowing story from a survivor convinced us to make haste and leave at once. We spent nearly half of our new treasure on four steady steeds. Finn's new companion is named "Mushroom".
