The Pineapple Track is a walk along Dunedin's skyline with magnificent views of the city and Taieri Plains. It passes through the tussock country above the tree line of Flagstaff Hill.

You can start the walk from the Woodhaugh Gardens up through Ross Creek past the old reservoir. Many of the paths through Ross Creek let out at the start of the Pineapple Track. It's a beautiful walk, but gets much colder and windier the higher you climb so bring something warm. Most of the way to the top you start getting a nice view of the city and there's long blown over grass to sit and have a picnic.
