Tucked away in a steep snow fed valley aboce the eastern shores of lake wakatipu, wye creek has some of the best schist climbing in otago, perhaps the whole country.

The walls are compact and heavily featured with quartz veins and protrusions that make splendid holds. The crag looks out to wide open views of the lake, mountains, and distant queenstown.
