You give the pigeon a repo to clone+pull and a mailing address to send patches. She'll check your repo's dependencies periodically for updates (only supporting languages like go where this is easily possible). If the dependency has a new non-major version release it sends a patch email with the new update applied. On sourcehut this could even trigger an automatic build test which would be super useful.
